World Environment Day is celebrated annually on 5th June and is the United Nations’ principal vehicle for encouraging awareness and action for the protection of the environment.
As part of the celebration for the year 2021, International Human Rights Commission, along with its specialized organizations such as Relief Trust Fund and World Youth Summit for Peace Organization
in continuation of efforts for Restoring Ecosystem of our planet is hosting a world environment conference to promote the theme of this year’s celebration.
An Executive Director of Nigeria’s popular peacebuilding organization, Foundation for Peace Professionals also known as Peacepro, Mr. Abdulrazaq Hamzat is one of the speakers billed to speak at the event, alongside other world leaders.
Abdulrazaq Hamzat, who is also a former Nigeria Ambasssdor to International Human Rights Commission (IHRC) is to speak along side 3 former presidents, a former Prime Minister and other important designitaries around the world.
Keynote speakers at the event include Her Excellency, First Female President of the Republic of Mauritius, Dr. Ameenah Firdaus Gurib-Fakim, Her Excellency, First Female President of the Republic of Ecuador, Mrs. Rosalia Arteaga and His Excellency, 19th Prime Minister of Republic of Guinea-Bissau, Mr. Rui Duarte de Barros.
